Intermarine’s Reach Extends to The River Thames in Central London

Intermarine have been awarded the contract to build a low freeboard rowing pontoon on the River Thames as part of the prestigious Fulham Reach residential development (www.fulhamreach.co.uk).

The former brownfield site, located just downstream from the Hammersmith Bridge in London, is part of the exciting Distillery Wharf project from St George Central London Ltd.

Design work on the pontoon and accompanying bridge and walkway has commenced with an expected 20 weeks to complete.

The major features of the bespoke build include pile-driving the structure to contend with the dramatic tidal fluctuations of the Thames, as well as incorporating stainless steel handrailing and attractive timber decking in keeping with the overall sophisticated design of the residential project.
